Kirsty has been with Studio 1313 since it opened in 2013. Even prior to completing her formal education at the Aveda Institute, Kirsty was an avid style and trend watcher. Kirsty is a conscientious stylist who understands that the key to a great outcome rests in her ability to really listen to her clients. Kirsty is a well-rounded, experienced stylist, she is passionate about exceeding her clients’ expectations. Kirsty is grateful to be working with such a great group of stylists in the best neighbourhood in Victoria! She feels privileged to work in a salon that gives so much back to the Fernwood community.

Chad has been an enthusiastic member of the hair and fashion industry for more than twenty years. He is pleased to join the team of professional stylists at Studio1313. With an organic and holistic approach to hair, cutting, colour, styling and fashion, Chad takes great pride in working with guests to meet their needs in a nurturing and attentive manner. He enjoys a diversity of clients and is always open to innovation and a cutting edge approach, ensuring his guests leave the salon looking and feeling their best.

Master Stylist/Studio Manager

Tina is Studio1313’s manager and has been styling hair since 2002. She has experience working with all hair types and specializes in cutting. She also loves doing colour, highlights, and colour correction. Tina is a confident stylist that prides herself on her communication skills. She is passionate about education and regularly attends classes to keep up with the trends. Tina loves the experience of meeting new people and building relationships, She makes sure to educate all of her clients on how recreate their hairstyles at home so that they leave feeling beautiful and fresh.

Senior Stylist

A VIU Cosmetology alumni, Samantha has worked as a hairstylist and barber since 2014. Before devoting her skills to barbering full time, Samantha spent four years specializing in long textured cuts and grey blending colour techniques while managing her family’s small salon which won three Reader’s Choice awards. After five years of barbering, she is excited to return to the salon environment by joining the Studio 1313 team. Samantha is looking forward to returning to her hair styling specialties, while sharing her honed skills in short haircuts and styling. Styles that enhance her client’s best facial features with special consideration to their personal preferences and daily rituals so that every time they leave the studio they are able to replicate those salon-perfect results at home.
